HD Hyundai Oilbank strengthens on- and offline customer experience.. No. 1 in KS-SQI gas station category for 12 years
▶ Providing integrated car life services based on “Car&” and strengthening on-site service quality management
▶ Record of winning first place for the longest time... proving top-level service competitiveness in the industry
HD Hyundai Oilbank (CEO Myung-Joon Song and Im-Ju Jung) announced that it ranked No. 1 in the gas station category in the 2026 Korean Standard Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) published by the Korea Standards Association.
HD Hyundai Oilbank received the No. 1 award in the gas station category at the certification ceremony held on the 2nd at Lotte Hotel Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul. With this, HD Hyundai Oilbank has achieved first place in the gas station category for 12 consecutive years, extending the longest-running record in the refining industry and once again demonstrating the company’s industry-leading service competitiveness.
The Korean Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) is a service quality evaluation model jointly developed by the Korea Standards Association and the Seoul National University Business Research Institute that reflects the characteristics of domestic service industries and consumers. It comprehensively evaluates the level of service actually experienced by users across eight items classified as accuracy, expertise, sincerity, friendliness, proactiveness, ease of use, appearance, and orientation toward social value.
In response to changes in the energy distribution environment—such as increased use of digital channels and the spread of self-service stations—HD Hyundai Oilbank has been innovating its digital channels and raising on-site service quality at its stations. Through these efforts, the company has been highly rated for maintaining consistent service quality across online and offline customer touchpoints and for providing a differentiated refueling experience.
In digital channels, the company provides integrated car-life services—such as smart refueling, car washes, and membership benefits—through its bonus card app “Car&,” supporting a convenient, connected vehicle-use experience between online and offline. On-site, the company is responding to changing station usage patterns through service training and improvements to customer response manuals, and is continuously strengthening a field-centered quality management system that regularly inspects station operating conditions and customer service levels.
An HD Hyundai Oilbank official said, “This award is the result of receiving unwavering support and trust from customers over the past 12 years,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our digital channels, including Car&, and on-site service quality at our stations to provide a differentiated refueling experience.”
