▶ Investing KRW 1.76 billion to construct and expand two welfare facilities in Mokpo, with a total of KRW 3.2 billion allocated for social contribution projects

HD Hyundai Samho (President and CEO Kim Jae-eul) is carrying out a range of social contribution activities, including directly supporting the expansion of welfare infrastructure to enhance community well-being.

HD Hyundai Samho announced on September 2 that it plans to invest approximately KRW 1.76 billion this year to construct and expand two welfare facilities in Mokpo and donate them to the city upon completion.

In the Yeonsan-dong area, the company will construct the Wonsan-dong Culture and Welfare Center (tentative name), which is scheduled for completion by the end of November. The project will require an investment of approximately KRW 1.13 billion. The two-story facility, with a total floor area of 389㎡, will include a multipurpose welfare room on the first floor for health checkups, counseling, and community gathering activities, while the second floor will feature a multipurpose room for community meetings and cultural programs.

At the existing Mokpo Senior Welfare Center in Honam-dong, the company will invest approximately KRW 630 million by September to add a 178㎡ multipurpose room (small auditorium) on the second floor. The new space will be used for various programs, including meetings, educational activities, and events for welfare center members and local residents.

Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Samho plans to carry out a variety of social contribution initiatives this year with a budget of approximately KRW 1.5 billion. In cooperation with local governments and community organizations, the company continues to provide broad-based support in areas including rural and fishing community development, welfare, education, culture, and community events.
