HD Hyundai Oilbank newly developed a container from recycled plastic that is to be used for its lubricant product XTeer.

The new containers are made from recycled battery separator films that are usually discarded in the manufacturing process. In comparison to the containers made from traditional high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the new containers exhibit higher strength and purity along with a colorless, odorless, and non-toxic traits. Additionally, the container allows the application of unique colors, including fluorescent shades.

A representative from HD Hyundai Oilbank stated, "These eco-friendly containers will not only be utilized domestically but are also planned to be incorporated into lubricant products for export, starting with Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. We are committed to continuously expanding initiatives that contribute to the activation of plastic circular economies."
